My computer caught on fire and need installation help

Post by Reem »

Hello,

I rescently lost my entire computer (and other items) to an electrical fire and was wondering if Rayzoon kept a record of all the items I purchased and how to go about re-downloading them on my new machine. I may still have a CD I made with Jamstix 1 installation, but have nothing for Jamstix 2 or the extra packs (I don't think I purchased all the add-on packs, though).

Thanks for any help what-so-ever.

Turn your amps off!!!!

It was raining pretty bad (moisture in the house) and I should have known once the amp would not turn off. I thought nothing of it, because amps can cost a bit to replace. But fear of it not comming on again if I unplugged it, I just left it on - turning the computer off and on accordingly. One day comming out of the shower, I smelled something like an electrical fire and sure enough the amp was smoking. I unplugged it and the fire went out. Two days later, I turned on the computer - it didn't come on. The insides were burnt. The only things salvagable were the CD/DVD drives, the chasis, and a video card. So, turn your amp off. If something seems wrong electrically, replace it. Also, insurance doesn't cover everything.

Long story, but a lesson to us all (well, at least me anyways). It could have been worse.

PS: Support here is awsome; I'll be back up and running soon and can't wait to get Jamstix 3.
