It looks like on the "preview" page of features there is a more flexible MIDI input and output mapping feature.
Is there anything related to allowing more types of "import" grooves than just those formatted in the GM specification?
I'd imagine a large portion of users want to import grooves from AD2, EZDrummer/Superior, etc.

Once the private beta team stops finding significant showstoppers, which they are still doing...thankfully.pumafred_ wrote:BTW, is there an estimated date for the public beta of JS4?

I think we are on week 9 from your post, are showstoppers still coming in from the private beta team?Ralph [RZ] wrote:The first Private Beta was sent out on 12/30/16, definitely not 14 months ago. Does this mean it will be more heavier to use than js3, and library be double the size?Ralph [RZ] wrote:They use the same sounds and JS4 can be set to use the JS3 sound folder so that no disk space is wasted.Dali_S wrote: Will they share any new sounds or it will means two data folders ?
On a side note, even though the sounds are the same, the kits sound almost completely different since JS4 uses extensive processing via the new mixer to provide a more 'mix-ready' sound experience.
