Jamstix 3.6.1 Update Available

I think we did something for it in 3.6.1 but now I'm not so sure. Let me know if it still not working for you.

Didn't even see that there was an update yet - was thinking of using it in a project I'm starting too, so I'll have to get the update.

Sorry for not responding sooner, Ralph.

No, it is not fixed. In fact, I think that it might be worse now. I can't get the style preview to work at all on a new project with no time signature changes.

I have another pretty big problem as well. I did a cut and past of a bar into another bar, and now when I click 'compose', the application pretty much ignores my settings and seems to be associated to the wrong things. I don't know if cut/paste had anything to do with it. Maybe not. Anyway, I had the hihat style set to gallop, and I switch it to 8th, but when I click 'compose' it is ignoring this and still doing the gallop.

Ralph, a lot of these things are regressions because I didn't have any issues like this in JS 3.5.

ut .dll remains 3.6.0', 'I did the 3.6.1 update earlier, but never recognized the plugin still was 3.6.0
Now i installed the update again and also re-downloaded the installer, but no success. I also renamed the old plugin folder and let the installer create a new one but the dll remains at 3.6.0
Need the update because of high CPU usage problems when loading 2 instances of Jamstix3 in Live or MuLab with multicore enabled.

This is most likely a problem with where you are installing the update and where the host is looking for it. Can you check this?

This is most likely a problem with where you are installing the update and where the host is looking for it. Can you check this?

I have double-checked this. The updater asks where to install the VST plugin and i had renamed my old folder before, so the updater created the folder again and installed the plugin there. But the jamstix3.dll is the same file which i have in the old folder.
I also installed Jamstix3 on onother machine, to verify this.
If i look at the properties of the file (context menu in explorer) under details i can see that the version is 3.6.0
Could you please look at your dll if it has the 3.6.1 version?

The .dll still shows as 3.60 in Windows Explorer but the JS GUI shows 3.61 in the lower left-hand corner. If the GUI of your installation is showing 3.60, is it possible that you still have both versions installed and Live is detecting 3.60 first and ignoring 3.61? Reaper will do that, recognize the 1st version detected and not recognize the other.
