I had similar issues (hang, freeze, whatever). It seems it was just an issue in Reaper, though.Pahaska_1 wrote:FWIW, with beta 9 and now also with beta 10, when I load the VST into Reaper (v4.25 x64 on Win7 SP1) it hangs on shutdown and I have to kill the process.
This happens either when attempting to save and close a project or simply remove Jamstix from the FX bin.
(BTW, I haven't read through everything here and have no idea where you're at with this possible issue, just mentioning it.)

I don't appear to get MIDI out during mixdown in Cubase 6.07. It outputs ok during playback (routed to SSD4) but no drums are present in the exported audio? JS internal kits work OK.

Since SSD4 is outside of JS, maybe this is an SSD issue? Does the MIDI OUT LED in JS light up during mixdown?Sherz wrote:I don't appear to get MIDI out during mixdown in Cubase 6.07. Does unpinning the JS window (no stay on top) help?craig_glenn wrote:Regarding beta 10 still having trouble with the drop down menus...they pop up at the top of the screen...also give me no time to select anything.

Ralph, I was going to suggest to craig_glenn that the Embedded GUI option in Reaper might be causing his problem with menus but I just checked and this problem no longer occurs in beta 10. So whatever that problem was that I reported is now corrected.

Ahh...yes it does. So as you suspected - its possibly an issue with SSD.Ralph [RZ] wrote:Since SSD4 is outside of JS, maybe this is an SSD issue? thanks for the tip, that was selected; it turned out to be the "midi only" setting on the mixer panelPhoto_G wrote:@pwal: See if "MIDI Play In Jam" is selected in the General Options.
