How did you first hear of Jamstix?

Post by Lance_ »

I was researching picking up SD2 on KVR, and saw a mention of Jamstix. I thought the poster was kidding and was talking about the toy drum sticks that The Sharper Image had :-)

I am so happy I decided to look up Jamstix while I was in KVR and found people were praising this app that I had never heard of, but always dreamed of...

I've never seen so many praising a product - even ones that are going through hoops just to get it to work with their OS. I knew I had to have it. A n amazingly quick response from Ralph to a question, and I realized I found the whole package - Developers with a passion for both their software and for their customers, and customers who reciprocate that passion for this app.

Wallet out - purchase made!

Now to get it to work on OSX :-)

I first heard of Jamstix while looking through posts at the Toontrack Superior Drummer forum. The Moderator there mentioned it to someone that was asking about the possibility of making SD2 "jam" with him.

I'm so glad I did. I've had it now for about two months I think and I absolutely freaking love it.

Ralph- I've been playing with music software since the late 1970s and Jamstix just [b:da9969ad83][size=18:da9969ad83]IS[/size:da9969ad83][/b:da9969ad83] where I've been trying to get for these 30+ years! It is just a damn genius application. THANK YOU!
I started running MIDI on a Radio Shack Color Computer II with a whopping 64 KB of RAM using a cassette deck to load programs around 1979, I think.

Jamcussion is my next upgrade and I can't bloody wait for JamBassist (or whatever it's called) to come out. I LOVE your product.

I heard about it when I was asking on Korg forum if another companies product would do what I want.

Evildragon recommended I give the demo of Jamstix a go, that was yesterday, today I bought Jamstix and the AI expansion. It's exactly what I've been looking for.

Best

Just as Joe in the same thread. Watched the videos, listened to the audios, read the review on music-radar, played an hour with the demo ... and ordered the full package. Can't wait to get the download and do the integration in my rigg. :)
