Hey awesome people of the Jamstix community.

Lars here,

I'm a little stumped.

I am trying to multi output to pro tools 10 and I just can't seem to get PT and JS to talk to each other.

Jamstix itself is running fine in PT.
I have created a drum track I am happy with, it's coming through in the instrument track ok

I have gone to the kit drop down menu in JS, selected Output 8 (still only one fader in the mix window), gone and created 8 audio tracks, and the plug in selection under input is greyed out.

I have EZ Drummer and that is pretty straight fwd when it comes to multi output, but I just can't seem to find a way or the info to do it with Js.

Any PT users there who have done it?

How did you do it?

Lars (NZ)

I'm sorry, Jamstix is still 1 stereo output only under PT. We will have an update to fix this.

Cheers Ralph,

I'l stop obsessing about it then :)

Quick question, am I still able to output to PT as one Midi track?

I can't seem to get it mapped out in the DAW as an editable Midi file.
What I am having to do to get a final copy of it is run it through an aux and then send to an audio file to have something that isn't just playing in the plug if that makes sense?

What if you run the song through, use 'Export MIDI' in the JS song menu, load the MIDI file in PT and send it to JS in drum module mode?
