Couldn't find any... Are there?
I get the terrible feeling that it ain't happening anytime soon, unfortunately. I was hoping Ralph might have something ready to show-off at Winter NAMM in Jan, but not a chance, IMHO.

Ralph - you don't OWE us anything as far as detailed explanations, I just want to make clear that I acknowledge that. But with that said, we, your loyal supporters and absolute biggest fans of Jamstix, would humbly beg that you humor us. Anything more detailed than "The problem is on our end and I'm sorry for the delays with JS4. Be assured we're working on it!" would be SO greatly appreciated.

I say all this with peace and love sir. Can you please give us a little bit of the truth of what is going on?

Sheesh, a week later and no response at all from Ralph to THIS post, but a response to another one in the thread?

The silence is unfortunately deafening, and to me confirms my fears.

JS4 has literally been my absolute most anticipated plugin for the last 2 years. I don't know if Ralph has abandoned it completely, or is just dedicating his time to other endeavors, but I can't see how any of us can be expected to believe any longer that JS4 in any form actually exists.

Ralph, you're a stand-up guy in this industry, and you've always been amazing at supporting your product. Jamstix was one of the greatest innovations in virtual drumming I've ever used. Whatever it is you're doing these days, I wish you sincere luck on it. I can't get my hopes up for JS4 any longer. :(

I can assure you that we will release more specific information on Jamstix 4 this month. It exists, it is in the works, and we're more than appreciative of your support and patience.

Just to let you now that there are a lot of people waiting with patience for Js4.
We do not post very often - just get on with using an incredible piece of software.
I follow this forum every day and whilst the majority of posts are very positive it appears that there are some who are impatient and don't realise ( are not prepared to put some effort into it) the potential that this software has to offer the non drummer.
Suffice to say that we wait in anticipation for JS 4 ( although JS 3 is fine by me ) and Jambass..
Keep up the good work and (don't let the bastards ( whiners) grind you down.

Best wishes
Phil

Until JS4 comes around im now using the drummer in Logic Pro X.
Its very easy to use and with the "follow" function for kick and snare its quite powerfull.
Good to hear there will be news about JS4 this month. I sure will pick up JS again when its released.

I'd pay a good chunk of money for an upgrade to Jamstix 4, if it resolves the issues with Live Jam in combination with Ableton on a Mac. That is the _sole_ additional feature that motivates me.

Nobody creates software like this solely for the sake of money. However, it has to be difficult laboring on a new version without knowing whether people out there are willing to pay for an upgrade--it becomes essentially unfunded development, or a resource bottleneck. Especially when the whole plugin infrastructure in OS X is drastically different, requiring lots of rewriting.

So I just want to register my willingness to financially support--I don't care what the upgrade policy was in the past--I'd pay full price a second time to get something that works stable with Ableton on Mac. I'm sure there are many others willing to do so, in exchange for gaining various other features/support/bugfixes.

I just have _that_ much better fortune getting audio running at low latency on a Mac--even a Hackintosh--than when running Windows--even on the same hardware (see previous mention to Hackintosh). Also tried on a real top of the line Macbook Pro

I did reinstall Windows and verify that live jam works perfectly in Ableton on Windows, however at much higher audio latency. The whole reason I ended up moving to Macs and OS X for a while was to try solving the stable low latency problem.

I'd even be quite willing to sign up for a subscription on top of a purchase price, to make sure resources keep flowing to Rayzoon Technologies after my initial purchase. And I'd do this _now_, just in exchange for the continued service of JS3. I'm sure there are others that feel the same way about _this_ too.

I have to say that Jamstix has changed my life. I MEAN IT...

While I cannot wait for JS4 to come out, I love JS3.

Any chance I get to tell someone about Jamstix, I do it. I am typically a pretty reserved person and do not speak unless I have something to say. I would scream from the rooftops how much I love Jamstix.

I do not have a tattoo but if I ever decide to get one it will be Jamstix related because it means that much to me.

I am waiting patiently for JS4 and when the day comes, I will jump for joy.

Thank you so much Ralph for such an incredible tool.

Brian
