Jamstix 3 RC1 - Now Available
Hi Ralph
I'm re-posting this as it seems you might have missed it first time round
Finally free again to check out B14
Many thanks for implementing this feature
Can you please give an example of the layout for the string of variable Hats that JS3 will draw from
I mean how will it look in the JS.ini file
Are the variables(midi Note numbers) separated by commas or colons etc
Many Thanks

This reminds me... I have already emailed a bug report on this a few versions ago, but I just want to make sure this problem is known:Ralph [RZ] wrote:It's in the Options panel.
Every time I upgrade to a newer version of JS3, it forgets this setting and reverts back to the default setting. So when you have something like Battery 3 loaded, it doesn't load it again and you lose all of your settings since you have to first tell JS3 to use 16 outputs again, and then re-load Battery 3 from scratch.
I guess this is fine in a beta, but I am sure this will annoy a lot of people if this happens in a non-beta.

ClosedHatSet=42,61,62,63,64,65

May have been mentioned before
Only just started using v3 but the mixer slider goes 1 pixel too far up and one pixel too far down (yes i'm working on a skin)
Cheers
Flexi
Edit* For the record you should make { 0_channel_p.bmp } an odd number of pixels in height (Y axis)
This way it is easier to have a centre line when skinning (I know it's not officially skinnable but still this will help with skinning)
Edit2* You already have the alpha code in place for the knobs can we have { 0_channel_p.bmp } .png with alpha support too please (So we can put a shadow on it easily)
Cheers

"Any end in sight?" he asked, hoping not to upset the developer.

No, we're having some unexpected issues with the new stock kit that are holding us up a bit

Ralph i have opened a couple of the .js3gui files
Are these editable ?
Just wondering if i can use these to change placement and color fonts and stuff (I haven't looked into them too much because you told me that JS3 is not full skinnable, So just wanted to check here with you before blowing my install up)
Cheers

You can edit the files but, naturally, incorrect settings can yield undesired results. It won't blow up your install, just runtime.
