I just went ahead and installed A14, but should we be uninstalling the betas as we go along, or will this be sorted out with the official release?
I have 8 of them 8)
I guess this happened because Windows detects every Beta as a different application.
Redundant programlist entries can be removed with CCleaner. Use the "Tools" menu for that.

With (most) other Windows applications, the update-installer would take care of that.
It shouldn't be a problem to install a revision of the same version over a previous revision.

True, but we´re not talking update, we´re talking beta here.
It has always been the recommendation to remove the betas before the first install of the officially released JS version anyway.
1. (difference from js2) during playback, when you change the value on the song power knob, there is a brief gap in the sound - can this be fixed so there is no gap (so that it is like js2)?
2. (feature request) currently the value of the song power knob ranges from 8 to 100 whereas the value of the auto snare max power ranges from 0 to 127 - could it be changed so the power knob ranges from 0 to 127 (the range automation values use)?
3. (difference from js2) when changing the power knob the mouse movements do not allow for precise changes unless you first press the shift key; in js2 you do not need to press the shift key to accomodate small changes in value - can it be changed so you do not need to press the shift key (so that it is like js2)?

What host are you using?

I'll take a look at that.

That is by design as SHIFT fine control is on all knobs in JS3.
