Can you give me a step-by-step to replicate? Please also email me Documents\Jamstix3\rzdlog.txt.

Hi, i just checked it with the new beta, and it seems to be working now on one of the songs. I had this issue in a couple of songs where no sound occurred randomly during a first beat of the part in a middle of a song when changing time signature, always the same place. It happens randomly during playback. No biggie really.
It seems to happen more when asio buffer size is larger, but randomly.
Another issue with ctrl-dragging the song midi-file, all notes are missing in some parts, randomly again, Happens at least in two songs I've checked. Not really an big issue to me, there are work arounds.
I'll send you the log

Before doing CTRL-Drag, let the whole song play through in one go to ensure all parts are composed. You can do a render/bonce to do this faster than real-time.

Ralph,
I sent you an e-mail with the logs and a couple of projects but I thought I would post also for the benefit of other users.
With beta 22 installed, using Cubase 7.5.1 and/or 6.5.5, I could not get song data in ANY projects to load. I even tried some projects that were months old and that I am 100% certain had song data before.
I re-installed beta 21 and ALL of those projects had song data when I loaded them. I also had a couple of the white screen, "Can not open core event." messages when opening the GUI and even had a Cubase crash/lock up on exit, which I almost never get (knocking on wood).

Just installed beta 22 then I see your message.
So I open a prior JS project and all song data was there from when I last left it in Beta 17. All good here.

I tried uninstalling Jamstix then re-installing beta 22. I could not get a single project to load with song data. I even tried some really old ones, for example, one of my first projects with Jamstix from several years ago. No luck. So I re-installed beta 21 again and it is doing great. I checked some of those same, old projects with beta 21 and they loaded fine...
Just to check, with beta 22 installed, I re-loaded the song within the Jamstix GUI, re-saved the project and then re-loaded the project. It DID reload with song data. I am going to keep beta 21 handy but will re-install beta 22, re-load the song in Jamstix, re-save the project and work with that for a bit to see if I can provide anything helpful.
I really don't want to go back through all my projects, re-load the songs, and re-save the projects!

I tried duplicating this but I can't. 'Keys Only' never loads any kit pieces so it will do nothing on an empty kit. What it does is change the MIDI keys for any ALREADY LOADED kit pieces based on the MIDI keys of the new kit. This is a quick way to match the key assignments of one kit to another without changing the kit.
- when toggling between Groove, Accent, and Fill tabs the bar hits do not redraw correctly
Confirmed. Will be fixed in Beta 23.

Ralph - looks as though I was using the "Keys Only" incorrectly. I thought this was the option to not load samples and use the kit for midi only output - same as the "Midi Only" option in the mixer section.
The kit loading is working properly - please disregard.

Beta 23 is now out. Thanks!
Jas_Lan: the Cubase issue was related to a change in how the version number was reported to the host. Most hosts don't care about it but, unfortunately, Cubase decided that it should not send any song data to Beta 22 due to the version # change. This is now fixed in Beta 23 and all your existing Cubase projects should load fine.

Ralph - preliminary tests on Beta 23 looks really good. I plan to devote some time this weekend to put it through a thorough test.
One side note - Cubase 7.5 x64 did not automatically scan the plugin after installation. I had to manually re-scan the plugins to get it recognized. Not a big issue, and not sure if this is a Jamstix or Cubase issue - but wanted to get it out there for anyone else who may come across this.
