Couple more days for Beta 12 and then I can get you a demo. Thanks for your patience!

Thanks anyway, Ralph. I've just been reading too many posts about similar problems to what I was having. Even folks who are using the latest release are having to reinstall older versions. You have one hell of a concept there, and I hope you continue to develop it. The possibilities seem endless. For me, I just want to make music, as opposed to installing software then hanging out in forums trying to get things fixed. I used the MDrummer demo for about a week, with not so much as a hiccup. Seems very stable to me, and I really like what I'm getting out of it. So I bought it this evening. Thanks for trying to help me, and good luck with the future of Jamstix!

Edward, maybe a dumb question: Are all your programs and drivers up to date? (windows, graphic, soundcard etc, etc..) That fixed a lot of problems I had.

I´m a new jamstix user, and I´ve been working all weekend with this plug. Its one of the best investment I´ve done. I´m finally understand how everything works, and it´s just crazy how good this program is.

Oh yeah, I've done all that stuff. I don't let my computer install anything automatically, but I do check and install updates every day. I have a Line6 UX2 interface, and I'm always looking for newer drivers. I'm pretty anal about all that, so yes it's all up to date.

I'm extremely happy and excited about MDrummer, although this is probably not the appropriate place to talk about it. I guess I caught Ralph at a very busy time, but it's ok now. Not everything is for everyone, and I've concluded Jamstix isn't for me at this time. Maybe down the road I'll give it another try, but the more I get into MDrummer, the more I'm defining and creating a way of working that really suits me. So maybe I'll actually be satisfied and content to just write and record songs as opposed to hunting down the next big thing.

On my system, Jamstix is way too buggy and crashy and blue-screeny for me to be productive at all.

I'm glad you're diggin it though! Have fun with it and make some music!

I'm making great progress with MDrummer, yet I can't help wondering if Jamstix still might be an option for me. The demo available for download is STILL 3.5.0??

I'm starting to have doubts about a new demo.

I'm starting to have doubts that you're not a troll Ed. Between here and the Reaper forum, I have never seen such whining over a free demo. (Which you've given up on now what, 2 maybe 3 times?) I know Ralph isn't going to like my reply, and I apologize to him, but he's in the middle of a beta cycle for an extensively revised version of his product. Do think that everything at Rayzoon should should cease so Ralph can throw together a free version of the new product just for you? A free demo that you'll probably whine even more about? Give it a rest pal and go play with your Mdrummer.

Bite me. I'm not a troll. I'm still interested in this thing. I'm not asking anyone to cease anything so I can have my free demo. I've been told more than once how close we are to the big release. But it's been weeks and still nothing. Thanks for your input, and I admire your ability to know what Ralph likes and dislikes, as well as where he is in the beta cycle. Maybe you can tell me when the new version will be released, since you're so in the loop. Ass-kissers like you make it a lot less appealing.
