You can create flams using F (instead of L,R,l,r). Ruffs are not supported at this time.

have you got the beta 12 Liveloops auto advance feature working in Ableton Live?

If so how have you got midi assigned?
in liveloop mode it's not receiving patch change messages

Anyone else tried to copy the MIDI generated bars to a DAW directly from Jamstix 3? I tried this with both Reaper and also Cubase 5 and it did not work. However the same operation using Jamstix 2 works absolutely fine. Consequently unless I am doing something wrong there seems to be something not working in Jamstix 3 in this respect.

The MIDI export issue will be fixed in Beta A13.

Yes thats what I thought - it does however work with assigning notes to the parts.

can you get the auto advance toggle to operate correctly?

In the options/jamming tab you can define a key to toggle between indefinite loop of the core bars of a part OR to follow the part/repetition structure. (see manual page 53 section 16)
With the setup I have with Live however the toggle only works momentarily and you need to keep the key pressed all the time.
think this is probbaly an issue with Live.

Just posted A13. Among many song builder enhancements, A13 also has further optimizations of the bar editor GUI code. If you previously still had some audio crackling with A12 at low latencies, please let me know if A13 did not improve it.
