Rayzoon RoadMap (As Of October 2017)

Post by squibs »

Hey Ralph,

I find myself in limbo. I bought Jamstix waaaaaayyyy back when it launched, and paid for the v2 upgrade, which now won't work bridged in my 64bit DAW (Reaper). I can't use it at all.

If I buy v3 upgrade, I'll need to shell out again for the v4 upgrade if/when it lands (launch date was supposed to be Oct 2014). Any hope of a free v4 update for me, if I grab v3 now? Or at least a firm launch date for it?

There is a post here, from Ralph, stating that any purchase of JS3 ,after a specific date in the past, will get a free upgrade to JS4. I will look for it.

Jamstix 4 will be a bit delayed to early 2015. I don't have a finalized feature list, yet. All Jamstix 3 purchases within six month of Jamstix 4 release will get a free upgrade.
This was posted last November, and had I bought js3 then, believing the revised early 2015 timeline, I can only imagine I'd be out of luck for my free upgrade because more than 6 months would have passed until the release of js4. There's no word of a beta, so I'm not expecting to see js4 in 2015.

Hey squibs,

Ralph has a long track record of doing everything possible to make things right with JS users. I can't speak for Ralph but from what I've seen of the way Ralph accommodates customers to make sure they're happy, I think you're worrying about nothing. Why don't you send an email to Ralph and ask?

Credit where it's due - Ralph is taking care of me, and I'm currently checking out my new js3 purchase.

Are there any considerations on update pricing?
I am a JS3-user since 2012. I bought the big pack with all expansions back then.
I like the programm and want to stay using it, so....
How much will the update be?

Our upgrades are usually $49. An introductory offer is also possible.

The upgrade maintains your current expansions so your XLPak and Jamcussion will transfer to Jamstix 4.
Great!!!! If I can upgrade to JS4 for $50, I'm in!!!!!!! :D
