Midi Output Mapping and Creating Custom Kit Catergory

Post by 78_deluxe »

I created a custom output mapping for Drum Core 4 (and then also saved it as a special kit that is MIDI Out Only - but mapped for Drum Core 4).

Question is how do I move that to another computer without having to re-create it from scratch?

edit: think I'm answering my own question:

C:\ProgramData\Jamstix4\data\kits\@ Special Kits

Put DrumCore4 Output in there

C:\ProgramData\Jamstix4\data\midimaps\DrumCore 4

place DC4 mdmap here

I keep my custom kits in the User Kits folder but that is just personal preference. As you assumed you just need to copy the kit and mapping files to the other computer and place them in the proper folders.
