Jamstix 3.6.0 Final Release Candidate Available

Post by Ralph @ Rayzoon »

Thanks!

Known issues being worked on for the next beta due in a few days:

1) VST automation freezes the Beta.
2) audioM8 does not work
3) Cubase GUI issues
4) 'Install Pak' not working (you can run PakInst.exe manually though)
5) rudiment frequency issue in 'Carmine' model

Thank you for your patience and testing!

Thanks Ralph! It is rare to see such great communication as this (from other developers I mean...)
Sincerely,

the latest beta jamstix fails for me quite often in reaper - upon first instantiation it fucks up and freezes - and then I have a song which is triggering notes sporadically.

:(

Please send me these files from Documents\Jamstix3:

apslog.txt
rzdlog.txt

and then install 3.5.0 and 3.5.1 Beta 8 until we have the next Beta ready.

nah I won't reinstall - I will just deal with it. It takes a few restarts of reaper and I;m good. I will email those files.

thanks man!!!! I am so glad I'm seeing some improvements here, although the start is a little shaky.

This means that Jamstix is either loaded in a host or has crashed in a host. If the latter, you can close the plugin server window safely.

and now some weird message about the host not communicating with the GUI or something...

is it me or is jamstix getting cooler but really complicated to start up anymore?
