I have contracted a very unpleasant social disease as a result of Jamstix 3 beta A8. I am hoping that A9 will provide some relief to the itching and burning urination...your thoughts?

In Jamstix 2 there is an option to add a choke in the bar editor. I don't see this in Jamstix 3. Has this changed? How would you specify chokes in Jamstix 3.

Thanks,

Ron

This option will be back in the 'Change Sound' context menu of the bar editor in Beta A9.

Just released Beta A9 with tons of changes!

We are especially interested in any issues on multi-core CPUs at low latency with Load-On-Demand on (crackling, ASIO spikes). We have tested A9 on various such configs and it performs for us flawlessly. The only exception is Cubase 4/5 for some testers. So, if you have trouble with A9 at low latencies, let us know.

Another long-standing bug fixed in A9 is multi-instancing. You should not have any trouble using multiple instances of A9. If you do, let us know.

Ralph --

Sorry to sound like such a noob (been using JS since JS1), but I cannot for the life of me get JS3 working at all. Specs of system include:

Gateway Intel Dual Core laptop, 2 gigs ram
Reaper 3.2
Vista (blech, I know - it's the original OS on this computer, I inherited the computer, blah blah blah).

Install seems clean, but getting the sounds from JS2 kits actually working, I get an error with each kit: 33(ish) sounds missing, and I can't get any sounds out of any kits. I tried with beta 8 and 9 and I get the same results.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Fester2k

at low latency it chokes Live when in the [i:20439a88de]song[/i:20439a88de] tab. after changing to the [i:20439a88de]kit[/i:20439a88de] tab it plays smoothly
