I think that's the "bold tinkering" he's talking about. :)

Heroic solution, of course! It's probably not for everyone though...

Unfortunately, I cannot make any statements concerning the release data of Jamstix OSX at this time.

wow, super fast reply, as always. i guess "no statments" means there's a very good chance the answer is no.

Ralph, can you personally comment on running Jamstix via Bootcamp on a Mac? is it stable?

thanks.

I haven't tried it personally so I can't comment on that.

It should be the same as any other Windows machine. It's on native hardware, and there's nothing special about Jamstix that should make it not work.

I had a hard time typing "nothing special about Jamstix"... :)

I understand your reply ... But, Have you in mind a plan for that ?
Me and many other people i guess, are very attentive from yoiur opinion about this matter ...
As I have mentionned in the past, the only one VSTi lacking for me on Mac OSX is Jamstix ...

Jamstix is very complex and for the OSX version we have to convert to a new language, a new framework, new OS and new hosts 'idiosyncrasies'.
It is currently not possible to estimate a release date since so much more is left to be done and every 'surprise' we encounter on the way can cost a day, a week, or a month. Until we have completed enough critical elements to make a decent estimation of release, we will have to stick with the old Duke Nukem Forever response: "It will be done when it's done"...
