Jamstix & FL Studio

Or maybe I am misunderstanding.
Hi, Jas! Thanks for your time

i'm trying to setup FL Studio to properly communicate with Jamstix, because altough the DAW recently offered support for "different" time signatures, it doesn't seem to be able to sync with Jamstix when it is set to any of those odd time signatures.

I've had no luck seeking help on the DAW's support forum, so I thought that maybe anyone around here knew of a workaround or an alternative way of setting up Jamstix or FL Studio.

In Jamstix Options>General Options do you have Allow Time Sig Changes enabled?

I don’t think Jamstix OR the host communicates the time signature back and forth. That is why the time signature MUST be defined independently in Jamstix AND the host. Each part (in the song sheet in Jamstix) must have it’s time signature defined correctly and, in the host, the time signature must be defined THROUGHOUT the song correctly. Whenever the time signature changes there should be a corresponding change in the host at the correct point.

Yes, sir. I've read the Manual twice, so this was the first thing that I've tried. But thanks again!

Hi, Jas! I've been using Jamstix for the past year, so I have read the Manual and followed the instructions thoroughly. The problem I'm mentioning is something that have eluded me and, so far, nothing in the Manual could help me.

Please do a 'Save Song' in Jamstix and send me the resulting file.

Will do, Ralph. Do you have any preference of time signature or setup?

No preference, i just want to check the song setup that does not work for you.
Also, if possible, could you send me the FL Studio project file as well?

Hi, Ralph. Just sent you the saved song and the FL studio project (and also, a MIDI render). Apparently, from the MIDI render, Jamstix generates the songs without a problem, but FL Studio fails to sync with the plugin "in real time". I don't have a clue about what's happening.

Thanks for your time!

Hi, Ralph! Did you get any chance of checking this problem out? I hope I'm not being too inconvenient.

All the best,
Astor
