The clue was that I couldn't hear drum sounds when the DAW was stopped. I remember I had this issue before. I needed to tick "Run Audio Engine When Stopped" Tracktion options. So annoying!

Unfortunately I only have the one audio track that has been exported so I don't have the original tracks. I could maybe increase the bass in order to try and distinguish where the kick is.

I downloaded Jamstix 3.6.5 update and on the downloads page it tells me to "execute to update my application" but where do I execute? There is no symbol for this?
