Bar View Proposal - Suggestions/Comments Needed
<t>Hope this isn't straying too far off topic, but as we seem to be discussing suggestions for making JS easier to use, I think this enhanced bar view could also allow for a bar by bar power level, rather than the single power knob for the song. When I saw the impact of automating the power knob, it ...

Jamstix 4 Information
I could go either way on the graphics (I think the JS3 are fine), but i wonder if people could please post smaller pictures in the forum. These enormous images make it so I have to zoom and scroll to see the text in the posts, at least on my iPad and phone. Too whiny?

Bar View Proposal - Suggestions/Comments Needed
<t>I really like the idea of seeing what parts are groove, fills, etc, without having to switch to the particular mode. It's sort of a Navigator (I realize the proposal is much more than that.) <br/>
<br/>
I also would welcome a cut/paste/insert functionality as suggested. <br/>

power knob control?
<t>I had a chance to sit down and do this in Reaper. The cc method I mentioned above works, but you can also automate the dynamics knob using track automation by using ReaControlMidi. To do so:<br/>
<br/>
1. In JS, right click the dyn knob and select the CC number you want to use. May be a good ...

Jamstix making Sonar quite sluggish
<t>I have a similar problem in Reaper. I haven't noticed any lockup of my whole system, but definitely project load and save times are far longer than with any other vsti.<br/>
The biggest headache is that I have Reaper set to autosave every 7 minutes, so sometimes there's a hiccup in the middle of ...
