Ralph,
No font changes, just the standard windows 8 Pro x64 stuff. The 2 machines are radically different too. A core 2 duo PC and an I7 Macbook Pro bootcamped. I don't remember seeing this with either machine on Win7 x64.

Nobody else experiencing this on Win 8?

As an update, SawStudio 5.0 just came out and the host state issue has been resolved. Previews are working fine as well.
