<t>I'm no expert here, but I would expect it would be better to import MIDI in parts so that the drummer engine can interpret them as such, and you could influence chorus, bridge, verse, etc, parts differently to fine-tune the feel of the track. <br/>
<br/>
Does that make sense?<br/>

You're probably best to transcribe the parts first, so you end up with verse, chorus, bridge, etc parts in MIDI. Import them into JS and try using different drummers to play the parts to see what souinds good -maybe adjust brain settings to get the best feel to the parts.

Use the release version rather than the beta version though.

3.5 no Subhosting...missing it
I gave up subhosting quite quickly in favour of just sending MIDI, but I didn't know how entwined the MIDI-mapping to external kits was with subhosting. -I get subhosting info warnings left, right and centre with older projects on the new update.

<r>Some people spend hundreds (if not thousands) on drum libraries like Superior Drummer. Jamstix has its own sample sets (and very good they are too), but it also allows for Jamstix to "play" the (eg) Superior Drummer sounds instead.<br/>

v3.5.0 - other issues noticed
Confirmed on the mixer menu button.
I thought that was just me, struggling and bumbling my way around, thanks DS.
JS plugin takes a while here too, although much older computer (Q6600, XP-32), and seems quite unresponsive for a few seconds after.
