Using Jamstix On OSX
How would I sync Logic with Reaper?
I managed to route the MIDI out of Reaper into Logic (simple IAC routing) and using Superior Drummer as VSTi but I cannot set Logic as slave or sync tempo/timeline.
Any ideas? Can Logic be set as MIDI sync slave?
Thx

<t>I gave up on this. It's a great app but not worth all this. Seems to be a one way street and I'm not liking that one bit. At least provide us with an update or starter version.<br/>
It's even starting to get funny how we all trying to figure out how to get it working.<br/>

<t>Slight update: I can play the keyboard in Cantabile now and logic plays the Superior Drummer sounds so that means I'm getting midi in. I've attached and loop played Jamstix inside Canatabile but have no MIDI output though.<br/>

Any ideas?<br/>

Jamstix for Mac?
Hi m8, we all want to use Jamstix inside Logic (mac only) so that already answers your question I guess.
It's possible but I can't seem to get any further help into routing the midi into Logic.

<t>Hi guys,<br/>

I'm able to host Jamstix 2 inside Catabile Lite with crossover but I cannot get the MIDI OUT to Logic. I don't need the audio since I already have a drum VSTi inside Logic.<br/>
I've tried creating a new IAC bus for jamstix inside Leopard audio/midi app and select that as MIDI ...

Jamstix for Mac?
<r><QUOTE author="Dewdman42"><s>[quote="Dewdman42"]</s>jamstix works pretty much fine under wine. Personally I use a commercial version of Wine called "crossover mac" and it works. The way I would reccomend using it is only as a midi drum part generator. pipe midi in/out of jamstix and host some ...
