I cannot duplicate the REAPER power knob issue, even with the sample project. Can you guys send me screenshots of your Options-Plugins-VST settings in REAPER? Plus OS, sound card and audio driver?

Hi Ralph,
I have this problem too, but only when I was hosting SSD through Jamstix. I haven't tried it with Addictive Drums. I do not have this issue when using the Jamstix kits.

Hi Ralph

Finally free again to check out B14

Many thanks for implementing this feature

Can you please give an example of the layout for the string of variable Hats that JS3 will draw from

I mean how will it look in the JS.ini file

Are the variables(midi Note numbers) separated by commas or colons etc

Many Thanks

I finally installed the Jamstix 3 Beta this morning and I had the above issue whereby if the power knob was moved while playing in Reaper there would be a discontinuity in the sound.

This happens not while turning the knob, but very shortly after lifting the mouse button.

Sound: currently ASIO4ALL - not got access to main soundcard
OS: XP SP3

Increasing the Read Buffer to 32k for LoD consistantly locks up Jamstix at the third drumstick hit in the intro (using the default wizard settings).

Changing the Pre-Buffer is okay.

(What is the difference between the two buffers?)

I recommend leaving the read buffer at 16k. More than likely this control will be removed in the final release.

Hi Ralph,
I'm trying to use SSD drums thru Jamstix 3 beta 14 in reaper.

I keep getting the message "Cannot load modual because it requires at least 16 outputs. Please adjust Jamstix outputs accordingly and restart Jamstix for the change to take effect".

For the life of me I can't find where to adjust this. IIRC it was in the mixer tab in Jamstix2.

Hi Ralph

I'm re-posting this as it seems you might have missed it first time round

This reminds me... I have already emailed a bug report on this a few versions ago, but I just want to make sure this problem is known:

Every time I upgrade to a newer version of JS3, it forgets this setting and reverts back to the default setting. So when you have something like Battery 3 loaded, it doesn't load it again and you lose all of your settings since you have to first tell JS3 to use 16 outputs again, and then re-load Battery 3 from scratch.

I guess this is fine in a beta, but I am sure this will annoy a lot of people if this happens in a non-beta.

May have been mentioned before
Only just started using v3 but the mixer slider goes 1 pixel too far up and one pixel too far down (yes i'm working on a skin)

Cheers
Flexi

Edit* For the record you should make { 0_channel_p.bmp } an odd number of pixels in height (Y axis)
This way it is easier to have a centre line when skinning (I know it's not officially skinnable but still this will help with skinning)

Edit2* You already have the alpha code in place for the knobs can we have { 0_channel_p.bmp } .png with alpha support too please (So we can put a shadow on it easily)

Cheers
