That's what I do at present. Just got to thinking it would be nice to have the option to do all the drum treatment in the JS mixer then downmix into the host. That would save time setting up group channels and would drop the host mixer channel count by eight (in my setup at least). Also I seem to remember reading somewhere that downmixing reduces the CPU hit. Everyone's a winner!........ Or are they? |

A12 with ableton midi clips
i'm getting sound now when in LIVELOOP but it's not advancing beyond the 1st part when the next midi clip is triggered in Live
just so you know I don't have any problems getting this to work in JS2 |

Workflow Feature Requests:
1. Quickload display organises by folders and retains last used directory position. Organising sets by folders makes things easier.
2. Implement Save to automatically save to the same file name, and implement Save As to do what it does currently. It's a pain to constantly tweek a song and have to keep navigating out to folder levels and putting the name in to keep saving. The auto save of current project does not cater for this.
3. Please please make the mouse wheel scroll in quickview mode!

|
|
Sorry posted this message before and it did not show up in the correct Jamstix 3 Beta forum so I am reposting hopefully in the correct place this time.
I've been enjoying testing out the Jamstix 3 beta and currently using Beta 12. I have noticed that when I try and copy the MIDI using the measure display feature of Jamstix in the song structure the MIDI fails to copy in Reaper. I tried the same test with Jamstix 2 in Reaper and it works fine. Is there something I am doing wrong here? Has anyone else tried this aspect of Jamstix 3 with Reaper? |

Politcat or Anyone
have you got the beta 12 Liveloops auto advance feature working in Ableton Live?
If so how have you got midi assigned? |

You can create flams using F (instead of L,R,l,r). Ruffs are not supported at this time. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| Anyone else tried to copy the MIDI generated bars to a DAW directly from Jamstix 3? I tried this with both Reaper and also Cubase 5 and it did not work. However the same operation using Jamstix 2 works absolutely fine. Consequently unless I am doing something wrong there seems to be something not working in Jamstix 3 in this respect. |
